Who we are
We are a Southern California-based technology company that has built a new and innovative solid-liquid separation system that reduces and concentrates all types of radioactive waste including high-level radioactive waste (HLW), by solids concentration factor ratio of at least 2,000:1. Essentially, this means that through our new innovative system, nuclear energy can lean towards becoming the best and most practical form of green and sustainable energy source throughout the world. Rather than disrupt the current operation of nuclear power plants around the globe or present an alternative energy source to replace the already advanced nuclear energy source, our efforts went into perfecting this energy source by providing a solid-liquid separation process with an extremely powerful and compact system that can be easily installed by any nuclear power plant currently in operation; without the need to construct any additional facilities. As such, the separation of the solids from the liquid occurs directly at the tank.
What we do
We customize our Solid-Free Membrane Technology (SMT) for nuclear power plants around the globe to help concentrate and reduce the highly hazardous radioactive waste including high-level radioactive waste (HLW) that is produced by these power plants. We also help clean up and essentially reduce the waste that was produced by power plants that are no longer in operation. As a result the global problem of finding a manner in which to dispose off the radioactive waste including HLW is being solved by our company.
Why it matters
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) there are currently 36 countries that either operate or have nuclear power plants. Some of these countries like the United States have over a 100 sites were as others like Brazil have only 3. However, whether a country operates one nuclear power plant or more they all produce various levels of radioactive waste; high-level waste (HLW), intermediate-level waste (ILW), low-level waste (LLW), or very low-level waste (VLLW).
Considering that nuclear waste is extremely hazardous, especially high-level waste (HLW) and considering that currently there is no way in which to discard or permanently deposit or store this waste, it becomes a serious global problem not only for our current population but also for future generations.
